President Obama Discusses Teacher Jobs – August 10, 2010

The White House said that Lewis and Martin would be among the first on the list of laid-off teachers in their districts to be re-hired if the House passes the Education Jobs and Medicaid Assistance Act. The House has been called back from its summer recess for one day by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to pass the legislation, which the Senate passed before recessing last week.
